Day 1  Arrive San Jose

Welcome to sunny Costa Rica! A driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in La Fortuna. Surrounded by verdant hills, this charming village nestled at the base of the Arenal volcano will be your home base for the next couple of days, and the perfect jumping off point for adventure.

Day 2 La Fortuna (Arenal)

After breakfast, it’s time to explore the surrounding Arenal area. Spectacular pineapple orchards, banana groves and sugar cane fields make up much of the scenery in this region. Hit the trails for an epic nature walk that takes you through 400 year old forests, and keep your eyes peeled for mischievous monkeys, fluttering Scarlet Macaws and colorful frogs leaping about. 

Day 3 Arenal Area

Today takes you on a proper jungle adventure complete with Arenal Hanging Bridges, across 15 suspended bridges and various walks beneath the lush canopy. Costa Rica is home to over 3,000 species of plans, more than 400 species of birds and 700 species of butterflies. If you weren’t a nature photographer before, you may just find yourself loving life behind the lens and capturing Costa Rica’s incredible natural diversity.

Day 4 Arenal - Monteverde

After breakfast, it’s time to pack up your camera and hit the road. If you were going to pick a bucket list region to explore in Costa Rica, the cloud forest of Monteverde would be near the top of the list. You will be exploring one of the world’s most bio-diverse areas. This unique jungle safari will bring you into the habitat of species like pumas, jaguars, ocelots, oncillas and marguays.

Day 5 Monteverde

One day in Monteverde is never enough, so today, a naturalist will take you on a guided walking tour of Santa Elena Cloud Forest. Look up and keep your eyes peeled for sleep sloths, and the cartoon looking  keel-billed toucan. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 6 Sarchi & San Jose 

Immerse yourself in local Costa Rican culture in the beautiful little village of Sarchi. This town is the epicenter for Costa Rican handicrafts, including their world renown custom designed ox carts. Today you’ll join a guided city tour of downtown San Jose that will include the stunning Metropolitan Cathedral and the historic National Theatre.

Day 7 Home

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to catch your flight home.

Day 1 Arrive in Honolulu

Arrive on the island of Oahu, and start your trip off with some Aloha with a traditional Lei Greeting. Your transfer will take you to our hotel in Honolulu.

Day 2 Honolulu

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and fresh coffee as your tour director conducts an orientation. Meet with your travel companions and get ready for today’s guided tour. Stops will include a visit to Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial and Museum, Chinatown, ‘Iolani Palace’ and other historic sites.

Day 3 Honolulu

Enjoy a day at leisure exploring the downtown core of Honolulu. Spend some time sunbathing on the beach, or snorkeling with sea turtles. If you’re feeling adventurous, head to the Diamond Head State Monument and hike up the caldera. For dinner, hit up one of Honolulu’s iconic sushi bars or seafood restaurants.

Day 4 The Big Island

Catch a short flight to Hilo on Hawaii’s Big Island. You will be met at the airport, and then driven to Volcanoes National Park where you’ll see the Kilauea crater, walk alongside live steam vents, wander through lava tubes and enjoy lunch just outside of the park. On your way to the hotel, enjoy a stop in for some famous Hawaiian sweetbread at the Punalu'u Bake Shop

Day 5 Kona

The Kailua-Kona coast is very different from the rest of the Big Island. Marked by blackened volcanic rock, secluded white sandy beaches, and lush coffee farms. Today, your driver will take you on a coffee tasting tour and to a macadamia farm. This evening, enjoy a traditional Hawaiian Luau.

Day 6 Kona

Enjoy a day at leisure in Kona. Take yourself on a self-guided tour of Hulihee Palace, Mokuaikaua Church and Ahuena Heiau. Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, a beautifully restored Hawaiian village or ‘place of refuge’ is another fascinating site you may want to visit.

Day 7 Maui

Today, catch a short flight from Kona to Maui today this morning. You will be met at the airport, and then take on a picturesque drive through the beautiful ‘lao valley making a stop at the ‘lao needle. You’ll check into your hotel for the night where you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 8 Maui

After breakfast this morning, take a relaxing scenic whale watching cruise to spot Humpbacks. Alternatively, you can take a semi-submarine ‘Reef Dancer’ out of Lahaina, and explore the underwater wonderland of Maui’s stunning natural reefs. The glass bottom allows guests to view tropical fish, turtles, sharks, and more, all without having to jump in. Spend your afternoon wandering through colorful boutiques, stunning art galleries and handicraft shops throughout Lahaina.

Day 9 Maui

It’s your last day and night in Maui. You may want to spend it sprawled out on one of the many golden sand beaches, sipping a Mai Tai, enjoying the balmy breeze before you head back to the winter’s chill. Or you could head out on a kayaking excursion, a bike tour or a zipline excursion through the canopies. Bid your new friends and fellow travelers farewell at a special dinner this evening.

Day 10 Home

You will be transferred from your hotel to Maui Airport to catch your flight home. Aloha.

Day 1 Arrive in Athens

Arrive in Athens, where you’ll be met by your transfer after baggage claim, and taken to your hotel in Athens.. 

Day 2 Athens

After breakfast, it’s time to explore the 3,500 year old city of Athens. Your guided tour will take you to various historic sites including a stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, the only stadium in the world built solely of marble. You will also visit the Acropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 Embark in Athens

Step on board, unpack, and relax. Your Aegean adventure has begun. Enjoy a sailaway cocktail, and get ready for your first port of call.

Day 4 Kusadasi, Turkey

Your first port of call is the vibrant Turkish beach town of Kusadasi. This town is influenced by the Roman, Greek, Persian, and Byzantine empires. There are a number of archaeological sites and historic spots you’ll want to explore.

Day 5 Rhodes, Greece

Affectionately known as ‘Island of the Sun God Helios’, Rhodes is home to a number of fascinating archaeological sites, the Acropolis of Lindos and the UNESCO World Heritage Medieval City of Rhodes.

Day 6  Agios Nikolaos, Crete

A fun-filled, picturesque island, Crete is known for its pink and white sandy beaches, rolling mountain ranges including Europe’s longest gorge and charming coastal towns. Cozy tavernas provide island-made cheeses, homegrown meats, local olives, local wine and fresh produce. You will love the laid back, yet sophisticated vibe of this beloved island.

Day 7 Santorini, Greece

Cycladic architecture, endless views over the volcanic caldera, balconies bursting with bougainvillea and friendly locals await you. Make the most of your time on this historic island.

Day 8 Milos, Greece

Spend the morning exploring the otherworldly landscapes of Milos. Boasting more beaches than any other Cycladic island, there are plenty of spots to escape the crowds and enjoy some sunbathing. If you’re looking for that quintessential Greece beach photo, Sarakiniko and Papafragas beach are two of the most photographed beaches in the world. Sail to Mykonos in the afternoon.

Day 9 Mykonos, Greece

By day, Mykono is quiet, charming, and home to fabulous museums, art galleries, tavernas and cafes. By night, Mykonos is second to none with various chic beach clubs, bars and sultry seaside lounges.

Day 10 Disembark in Athens

Meet your transfer at the port where you’ll be taken to your hotel for the night. Spend the afternoon and evening exploring whatever you missed in Athens. Toast to the end of your time here with a fun rooftop bar hopping tour around the city.

Day 11 Home

Your transfer will take you from your hotel to the airport to catch your flight home.

Day 1 Depart Vancouver

Fly in a day or two early to explore the west coast’s most exciting city. Vancouver boasts the world’s largest urban park, sweeping mountainscapes, world class cuisine, historic neighborhoods and live entertainment options. If you can, renting a car to drive an hour north to explore the stunning mountain towns of Squamish, and the Olympic town of Whistler are well worth the visit. Wave goodbye to Vancouver’s skyline and marvel at the historic Lion’s Gate Bridge as you float beneath it on your way out of Burrard Inlet

Day 3 Dawes Glacier, Alaska

Your captain will navigate you through the icy Endicott Arm fjord. Catch your first glimpses of staggering cliffs, half-frozen waterfalls, and soaring seabirds. Spend some time spotting whales, brown bears, and of course, glacier viewing.

Day 4 Skagway, Alaska

The anchor drops in historic Skagway, your first port of call in Alaska. Known as the ‘Gateway to the Klondike’, you’ll want to spend some time wandering around this Gold Rush town dating back to the 1880’s. Looking for more epic scenery? Consider taking a ride along the White Pass & Yukon Railroad. And if you want to channel your inner miner and try your luck at striking gold, take a stroll along the Chilkoot Trail.

Day 5 Juneau, Alaska

The excursion opportunities are endless in Alaska’s state capital. The town itself is worth a wander, but if you want to get your heart pumping, consider a hike along the Mendenhall Glacier Recreational Area, a guided alpine meadow walk or take the aerial tramway to the top of Mount Roberts for stunning views of the inlet below.

Day 6 Ketchikan, Alaska

This picturesque town is hailed as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’, and offers guests the opportunity to explore Native American culture and traditions. Learn about Tlingit and Haida life at  the Tongass Historical Museum and the Totem Heritage Centre. Take a stroll along historic Creek Street, and pop into the myriad boutiques and shops to purchase authentic Alaskan crafts and art.

Day 7 Day at Sea

Enjoy a day at sea as you leave beautiful Alaska behind.

Day 8 Vancouver

Disembark in Vancouver and transfer to the airport, or extend your stay to enjoy the city.
